Partnership Working

Midlothian Community Health Partnership (CHP)

Community Health Partnerships (CHPs) are organisations set up across Scotland to provide a wide range of community based health services delivered in the community in homes, health centres and clinics. Further information is available from the NHS Lothian website.

Information on the services available from Midlothian CHP is available on Midlothian CHP website.

The voluntary sector* representative on the Midlothian Community Health Partnership (Midlothian CHP) sub-committee (a sub-committee of the NHS Lothian Board) is George Wilson, Midlothian Voluntary Action. In addition there are representatives from the Public Partnership Forum (PPF)** and a carer representative.

*The voluntary sector feeds into the Community Health Partnership through the Voluntary Sector Forum.

**Community Health Partnerships in Scotland have Public Partnership Forums (PPFs). The Midlothian PPF forum is open to anyone who lives in Midlothian and who has an interest in health. More information is available on the NHS Lothian website (above).
