MVA's staff are trained to assist and support organisations with completing funding applications from a range of funding bodies. This entails helping to ensure that:
Books on sources of funds are available, including Company, Local and Central Government Grant Giving Bodies.
Some major companies will provide help-in-kind instead of cash, and some information is also on which companies may provide this type of support.
MVA offers access to easy to use Windows versions of the Funder Finder and Grantseeker software packages. Both of these applications help you to find your way around the maze of Charitable Trusts and other funding organisations which might benefit your organisation or group, in just minutes.
Simply feed in key information about your organisation and the purpose for which you need funding, and these applications will print out information on the Trusts and Fund Givers most likely to benefit your cause. MVA has also recently acquired Profunding web access information.
There is no charge to members of MVA for this facility, but time on the computer needs to be booked in advance. To do this, phone Dalkeith's office on 0131 663 9471.
